ARTWALK

Artwalk is an arts festival that transforms Birmingham's loft neighborhood into an arts district, featuring the work of more than 100 visual artists, live musicians, street performers, food and drink vendors, and children's activities. The event is free to the public and in the last three years has become a much anticipated fall event drawing visitors from all over to downtown Birmingham. For the past two years, more than 10,000 people walked the streets of downtown during the two-day event.

SHOW UP FOR WOMEN

Planned Parenthood is having a really cool event this Thursday, at Sleek Sports Bar at 7 PM (BIRMINGHAM, AL)

This isn't quite like anything we've ever done before! We're having live music from BhamStands & G.i. Magus , Poetry by Joi Miner and locals sharing stories about reproductive health.

We will also have Erin Mitchell, a Birmingham native an artist, who will be live-painting our entire event. Afterward, we'll take that painting and deliver it to Doug Jones' office to remind him to #StandUpForWomen! We're really excited about it, so please come join us!
